Windows 7 RTM now on MSDN and Technet

As of today, Windows 7 is available to download from Microsoft’s tech websites, MSDN and Technet. There is the standard version of Windows 7 ,and the enterprise versions too.
Currently the only language is English, but more versions will come soon and the “Starter” version of Windows 7 too. So get your browsers pointed to MSDN or Technet now and get the official Windows 7 RTM.
The final version for us, the rest, will be available on October 22 this year.
Twitter dead for 2 hours

Today a Denial of Service (DoS) attack was directed to the best known micro blog around, Twitter. A Denial of Service attack is where a hacker uses a way to request a lot of data from the server until the servers can’t take it any more and all the operations are pushed to the limit, in that scenario the user can’t access the service anymore.
It seams like twitter had a 2 hour crash from this problem today.
Mac OS X 10.5.8 update and Tiger security update

Mac OS X
Apple released today probably the last update to Leopard 10.5 OS. Do not forget that Snow Leopard is due to September release, 10.6 OS ,and will bring small graphical improvements, but big performance improvement, or so Apple says. Here is the text from the apple update system :

Windows 7 RTM “chkdsk” bug found

A bug in Windows 7 RTM has been detected, the problem does not implies any security risk or other “door” for hackers to take advantage of.
The problem appears when the “chkdisk” command is called via the command prompt, and after not much time the user can detect that all the ram memory is taken by the process (memory leak).
