Google Chrome OS : download and test
Nov 20th

Google’s Chrome OS is now available for download and test so the users can make their own opinion about that’s new and interesting about it. The instructions are available HERE. The Chrome OS comes in a vmdk file (VMware image) and you can test it after installing VMware or VirtualBox.
Again, it’s good to keep in mind that Chrome OS is not a full system OS that takes advantage of hardware and multi-core, multi-GPU configurations. It’s more of a netbook class OS, but feel free to test it now at the link above.
Using Internet Explorer ? Try the new “Chrome Frame”
Sep 28th

Google just released a new project they had been working on, it’s called “Chrome Frame”. What it basically does it that now, if you use the Internet Explorer browser, 6,7 or 8 , you just have to install a plugin for the browser, and for pages that have a small code in them, the “Google Frame” will do the rendering of the page as you were on the Chrome browser, which is better, fast, stable, open and best of all, it has a light rendering engine.
The frame implements that rendering engine in IE, but yes, the web developers need to implement that small code (metadata) in they’re websites for the “Google Frame” to come into action.

No Internet Explorer in european version of Windows 7
Jun 13th

The most popular web browser software , Microsoft’s “Internet Explorer” is not going to be included in the european version of the next big Windows release , Windows 7 . The cause seams to be the european regulations that decided that Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8 being anti-competitive in the browser market.
Probably the user will have a ballot screen like the one where you chose the default search provider and other settings, but this time you will chose the browser you wish to use. More >
