Yesterday was the release day for the iPad as i presented, so, after a day, it seams people divided in two big categories, the first one considers it “the iFail” and totally rejects the idea of buying this product in the near future, the second category users tend to think that the iPad is just the start of a new generation for mobile computing and Internet access, and it’s normal for the first device to be limited in features.
I don’t know about limitations and first generation, but the lack of Flash support is kind of a setback, remember the good days when the iPhone was released and it was strange for such a “futuristic” device to lack support for one of the most important technologies that had improved the Internet so much in the last years, Adobe said that it’s up to Apple, they are the ones responsible for blocking and limiting the web experience on the iPhone. Apple’s next big thing in the world of inovation and breakthrough devices may be the tablet computer.
The company, until now, never had any experience with tablet computing, the first (and successful) device to come out from apple and integrate a touch interface was the iPhone. But don’t hold your breath. The rumor is that someday in September this year, Apple will release a new “wow” device, the tablet computer. More >
